Kukrudu Ladies are a political organization constituted under the New Patriotic Party,the ruling party (NPP). The Core Value of KUKRUDU LADIES is to influence and empower women in decision making process and to influence the Male Dominace which is a key aspect of decision making in the countries governance.
It is objected that WOMEN constitute more than half of Ghana’s population(51.2%),without WOMEN’S participation in decision making process,it will be difficult for Ghana and it’s governance to achieve a sustainable development.
WOMEN IN POLITICS with their roles and status are recognised as inferior to those of the MAN in almost all aspect of social,political and economic life,custom,law and even Religion have been used to rationalize and perpetuate the relationship between genders in the various institutions.
