Gideon Amenyo, popularly known as Khing Rhock, is a highlife and afrobeat artist.
He was born at Asamankese Adiembrah, somewhere in Esten region with his parents Mr and Mrs Amenyo and siblings.
At the age of 15, Khing Rhock relocated with his parents from Assamankese to Bawjiase, somewhere in Central region.
"I really love listening to music, sometimes, i use to organize dancing competition for the kids around the house. Instead of playing music for them, i will be using my hands or a stick to play beat on something whiles singing along"__Khing Rhock.
He added:
"From there, i started jotting my own lyrics down, so i wrote many song as well, but since i never entered studio before, i was afraid to prove to the people around me that this is what I was capable of.
But when it get to any occasion in school, i use to perform any song that i can sing and sing it better.
So in school, there was a friend named Sammy Bhee, in fact, the hole school, when it comes to music, he was the famous one.
Sometimes, he will be rapping and i will be singing along. so he began to like me more.
I use to use my bear hands, playing beat on the desk for him to rap.
Sake of that my friend Sammy Bhee, then began to recognize me as a young artist"___Khing Rhock.
Khing Rhock had his first demo song recorded at Bawjiase, by Swanzy Beat.

Sammy Bhee introduced him to music.
Khing Rhock Explains:
"I move to Kasoa to stay with my sister(Gloria) after I completed school.
I stay there for One year and moved back to #Bawhiase.
This time around there was a friend named Nana Kwesi Escoba, he introduced me to some beat maker which is Klasik Beat.
I can say that, the hustle life started from there, in fact it wasn't that easy.
That time with Klasik Beat, we dont have all the machines that a studio needed, but I was doing my best.
Klasik Beat, being a nigerian native moved back to Nigeria and it wasn't easy for me at all.
My first song at Klasik Beat was (BOOR ME). Prod by Klasik Beat).
I did alot of song as well,
DONT GO, CALL ME, Aku Shika, Long Talk and many more.
My first performance on stage was at the Super Star Concert, A program organized by Jay Kakulous.
OM Studio Engineer, Emma Kay was a new comer in Bawjiase but we became friends sake of Klasik beat.
Emma Kay got more intrested in me. It even got to the extent that i use to sleep at the studio there with him.
I became studio boy at once, in fact we were living a happy life but wasn't easy.
Unfortunately for me, Emma Kay also moved from Bawjiase to another location, but we still had connections.
My first project that Emma did was (ABENA) featuring Emma Kay himself.
After the ABENA, i did another song title (BABY) Featuring Aketesia, one of the famous artists in Bawjias.
So far i did two songs before Emma Kay move from Bawjiase.
My first interview was interviewed by Sir OJ on BIGFM at Bawjiase.
Since Emma Kay is not residing at Bawjiase any more, i use to go up and down from Bawjiase to Nsawem.
Sometimes i spend two or three weeks at Nsawem for studio recordings and after, i get back to Bawjiase.
I think my song ABENA is the song that brought me out, so my first music video i shooted was ABENA ft Emma Kay.
