Emmanuel Amoah known on stage as Kojo OJ and James Asante also known as Kojo Kay met and became a duo artistes in the year 2008.
As this people sit and think of what the group will be called, Blakk 3Nity was the name they came out with as the group name. Blakk 3Nity have been writing and recording songs from 2008 till date.
Hailing from Awutu Bawjiase in the central region, these guys have taken Awutu Senya and central region's music to many progressive level soo many times up to date.
Their style mixes with the new-age and influences with aspects of Afrobeats and Highlife. They have released couple of good songs such as "Show Me Your Swagger", "Traffic", "Adom", etc.
Because of their versatility, they won The Best Group Of The Year at Awutu Senya West Music Awards in 2020 and the same year won The Best Group Of The Year Award on The Ghana Youth Empowerment Awards.
Emmanuel Amoah(Kojo OJ) is a graduate of the Trans Africa University College with Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management(Institute Of Commercial Management, ICM U.K.) and James Asante is a graduate of the Minnesota Senior High School.
Blakk 3Nity have their beautiful and concious songs trending on all social media platforms, radio and tv.
Internationally, their songs are being played in some parts of the countries such as the U.S, U.K, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Lebanon etc.
They aim at expanding Afrobeatz and Highlife to the world and also using that means to change lives and also help move the music industry and Ghana as a whole forward.
