Ghanaian award winning artist Stonebwoy, who recently had 1. 5 million views on Youtube got embarrassed by a lots of fans who accused him of buying views from the video streaming platform.
Some said he did it to beat Yaw Tog' s record of a million views in 3 days. Most of the fans defended the ' 1Gad' singer and said that his music capacity as an artist was better and more recognisable than Yaw Tog.
Others said he featured American Rapper Vic Mensa who had lots of followers in the United States of America hence his unbelievable rise in the number of views. Others said Stonebwoy' s achievements should come as a surprise because he did the same thing with Keri Hilson in his " Nominate" video last year.
He released his first song that was played on the radio, when he was still in high school, called Makuma meaning " my heart" . After this, he went on and released another song " empress" before he cleared high school in 2007, which brought him to fame. The following year, 2008, he started working with S24 studios, which was subsequently followed by him opening his own dance group called Burniton Music Group where he is the CEO.
This was strongly inspired by his dancing skills.
Following his great ambitions and dreams, he has been able to collaborate with international famous artists, which proves his passion for music. He once said, " I do not follow music, rather music follows me. " Here are the names of the artists he has collaborated with, Trey Songz, Patoranking, Chris Martin, Morgan Heritage, Wayn Wonder, Gappy Ranks, Randy, Black Prophet, Sakordie. R2Bees, I Octane, Kranium, General pype and many others.
Stonebwoy is married to a beautiful Dr. Louisa Kwakye Ansong. She is a graduate student from the reputable Kwame Nrumah University of Science and Technology. He proposed to his girlfriend and later tied a knot in a very big ceremony, at the Unique Flora at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra. Like most artist, he opened his doors for his fellow artists, both musicians and actors.
Stonebwoy has really done it. Apart from being a rapper, he is also a CEO of Burtana Music Group. Since he launched his music career, he has managed to be among the richest celebrities in Ghana. He has done collaboration with internationally recognized artists and performed on international stage. To add on this, he has also done a lot to promote his albums and managed to sell most of his songs. His net worth goes to 6 million dollars.
