“The Lambo we seized from Shatta Wale was stolen from US and shipped to Ghana. We are working with the FBI - EOCO confirms
EOCO has confirmed that it has seized a 2019 Lamborghini Urus belonging to Shatta Wale.
The seizure was done in June 2025 after a request from the FBI and U.S. Justice Department.
The luxury ride was reportedly tied to the financial crimes of Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is currently serving an 86-month sentence in the U.S.”
“The car was seized from one Charles Nii Armah, aka Shatta Wale. The officers were professional and civil,” EOCO said in a statement.
Shatta Wale allegedly begged EOCO not to publicise the incident, fearing it could damage his brand. EOCO says the vehicle was surrendered voluntarily and is now in their custody.
The U.S. is expected to file an official request for the car to be returned as part of efforts to recover over $4.7 million in stolen funds.
